I spent two nights at Yosemite in a tent in Curry Village. I found out after the first night that the car alarms I heard about 2:00 AM were set off by a mama bear & her cubs.

alphamicro > My tent. The big green box is the "Bear Box." Anything edible or with any sort of smell has to go into the box at night. If you leave anything in your car and a bear goes for it, you're in trouble with the Park Service.

alphamicro > Bike rentals. Riding a bike around the Valley Floor was one of the things on my agenda I didn't get to. Knock on wood I'll get to do it in 2010.
